This is a is a one-day course specifically designed to teach life saving skills with relation to children and incorporates the Irish Heart Foundation Heartsaver CPR/AED course.
All staff working in a childcare environment should have first aid training but this course is very popular with parents too.
The course has a major emphasis on dealing with accidents that happen to children from newborn to eight years of age, This unique course will give you the skills and confidence to deal with all first aid and medical emergencies that occur with this age group.
All participants receive first aid emergency notes, designed by first aid and ambulance instructors here in Ireland. Upon completion of the course participants are presented with a Childcare First Aid Certificate and Heartsaver CPR/AED card, which is valid for one year.
